The Biology building, where I spend most of my time.   James B. Duke's statue outside the chapel, on a sunny Fall day.

The Camel, next to the Biology building, is in honour of a retired professor who discovered how camels conserve water in the desert. It's a campus landmark, and the only statue I know of someone who's still alive.

The West Campus quad, all pseudo-Gothic buildings and big trees. Not all the architecture is so nice.

The chapel, the centre of campus. An imposing building, and very photogenic when the leaves have started to change colour.

My own personal cubicle. Note the kakapo from my yearly NZ bird calendar, and the ostrich and Big Bird on the monitor.

Turtles enjoying the first nice day of spring in the aptly-named Turtle Pond in Duke Gardens.
